WHO Delegation Visited Turkic Investment Fund
On 7 May 2025, the World Health Organization (WHO) Regional Director for Europe, Dr. Hans Kluge, visited the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) headquarters in Istanbul. He was accompanied by Dr. Pierre Nabeth, Head of Office of the WHO European Centre for Preparedness for Humanitarian and Health Emergencies, and Dr. Dr Tasnim Atatrah, WHO Türkiye Representative and Head of Office.
The delegation was warmly received by TIF President, Mr. Baghdad Amreyev. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation with TIF and marked an important step in facilitating dialogue of WHO and its engagement with IFIs and the private sector to support sustainable health investments and other development initiatives in the Turkic region.
