Uzbekistan Ambassador’s Farewell Visit to TIF

President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev and TIF General Director Mr. Ramil Babayev, welcomed the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Türkiye, H.E. Alisher Agzamkhodjaev, to the Fund’s headquarters on the occasion of his farewell visit.

Ambassador Agzamkhodjaev has concluded his diplomatic tenure as the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Türkiye and has been appointed Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations of Uzbekistan.

President of TIF, Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, highly valued the contributions of Ambassador Alisher Agzamkhodjaev during his tenure, both in advancing bilateral relations between Türkiye and Uzbekistan and in strengthening multilateral cooperation within the framework of Turkic Cooperation Organizations.

Mr. Amreyev expressed his sincere appreciation to Ambassador Agzamkhodjaev for his strong support to TIF and his significant contributions to strengthening cooperation among the Turkic states. He specifically commended Ambassador Agzamkhodjaev’s role in advancing collaboration under the umbrella of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), including his efforts in facilitating Uzbekistan’s accession to the OTS, his active involvement in the establishment process of TIF, and his substantial contributions in elevating Türkiye–Uzbekistan relations to a high level of strategic partnership.

Mr. Amreyev expressed his full confidence in Ambassador Agzamkhodjaev’s success in his new role as Chairman of the Senate Committee on International Relations of Uzbekistan and extended his best wishes to the Ambassador for continued accomplishments in this important position.

Ambassador Alisher Agzamkhodjaev reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s strong support for TIF. He emphasized that engagement with TIF and other Turkic Cooperation Organizations has become one of the key foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Ambassador Agzamkhodjaev expressed his intention to remain engaged in advancing both bilateral and multilateral cooperation among Turkic states in his new role. He also encouraged TIF to ensure that its operations remain closely aligned with the development priorities of its member states.

Ambassador Agzamkhodjaev highlighted the close cooperation and personal friendship he developed with H.E. Baghdad Amreyev during his tenure in Türkiye, expressing his firm belief that this special relationship will endure well into the future.
