TÜRKSOY Secretary General Visited Turkic Investment Fund

On 3 February 2025, Mr. Sultan Raev, Secretary General of the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TÜRKSOY), visited the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) headquarters in Istanbul. Mr. S. Raev and his accompanying staff were warmly welcomed by Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, President of TIF, and Mr. Ramil Babayev, General Director of TIF.

While the meeting focused on exploring collaboration opportunities between the two organizations, discussions centered on potential initiatives integrating economic development with cultural efforts, thereby strengthening ties across the Turkic countries.

President of TIF, Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, took the opportunity to highlight TIF’s mission of developing economic relations and promoting integration across Turkic countries. He emphasized TIF’s commitment to supporting regional projects that benefit all Member States and underscored the readiness to further cooperation with TÜRKSOY. Mr. Amreyev also outlined TIF’s vision for long-term success, pointing out that initiatives like cultural tourism and infrastructure projects designed to honor Turkic traditions could be key elements in cooperation between TIF and the TÜRKSOY.

Mr. Raev expressed his belief in the TIF’s growing role in shaping the future of Turkic economic cooperation. He presented TÜRKSOY’s planned activities for 2025 and explored the possibility of aligning some of these initiatives with TIF’s investment projects. He stressed that these collaborations would be essential for enhancing both cultural connections and economic development within the Turkic world.

Both parties expressed their commitment to working together and supporting a prosperous and united future for all Turkic countries.
