President of the Turkic Investment Fund Moderated Ministerial Healthcare Business Forum in Astana

In the framework of the 5 th meeting of Ministers of Health of OTS member states President of Turkic Investment Fund Baghdad Amreyev opened and moderated a dedicated high-level business forum titled “Business Partner Meeting on Attracting Investment into the Healthcare Sector of OTS Countries.”

The forum brought together senior participants, including Ministers of Health of Turkic States: Kazakhstan’s Health Minister Aqmaral Aqnazarova, Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health H.E. Teymur Musayev, Kyrgyzstan’s Health Minister H.E. Erkin Checheybaev, Türkiye’s Health Minister H.E. Kemal Memişoğlu, the OTS Secretary General Kubancbek Omuraliev, WHO Regional Director H. Kluge and other regional and international representatives. Around 200 attendees, including government officials, business leaders, and healthcare professionals, took part in the session.

In his opening remarks, Baghdad Amreyev emphasized the broader vision of the meeting: “We’re here to unite efforts and move forward together — in healthcare, industry, and investment.”

B. Amreyev led the discussion by posing practical, investment-oriented questions to the ministers, encouraging open dialogue on opportunities, risks, and regional integration in healthcare.

President of TIF also invited companies, including Nobel AFF, BARK Technology, Karaganda Pharm Complex, Rönesans Holding, and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye, to present active investment projects and prospects for cooperation in the health sector.

The business forum provided a valuable platform for open dialogue between policymakers and investors, highlighting shared priorities and practical steps to strengthen healthcare systems across the Turkic region.
