TIF President Meets Hungary’s Deputy State Secretary for Foreign Affairs and Trade

On 16 June 2025, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met in Budapest with Mr. Ádám Stifter, Deputy State Secretary at the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

TIF President Amreyev commended Hungary’s active role in supporting the TIF and briefed about the Fund’s current developments and strategic outlook. He acknowledged Hungary’s significant contribution to the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) activities and its constructive engagement in advancing economic cooperation through TIF.

The President of TIF also highlighted the highly successful organization of the OTS Informal Summit in Budapest, noting its significance as the first summit held in the territory of an observer state of OTS.

Secretary Stifter stated that Hungary is interested in deepening ties with the Turkic world and recognized the TIF as a vital platform for promoting trade, investment, and regional collaboration.

The parties reaffirmed their commitment to advancing joint initiatives and cooperative actions.
