TIF President Attended the Meeting of the OTS Health Ministers

President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, participated in the 5th Meeting of the Ministers of Health of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Astana and hosted by Kazakhstan’s Minister of Healthcare H.E. Akmaral Alnazarova.

The ministerial meeting was attended by Ministers of Health of Azerbaijan, Hungary, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Türkiye, Uzbekistan , Turkmenistan,, the Secretary General of OTS, the Regional Director of World Health Organization (WHO).

Minister Alnazarova proposed in her speech declaring 2025 as the “Year of Primary Healthcare Services” within the OTS, emphasizing the need for greater accessibility and sustainability across member states. Other ministers echoed the spirit of solidarity: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Health H.E. Teymur Musayev underlined the rapidly maturing platform for health cooperation; Kyrgyzstan’s Health Minister H.E. Erkin Checheybaev emphasized unity in overcoming health challenges; Türkiye’s Health Minister H.E. Kemal Memişoğlu called for joint production of medical supplies and experience-sharing among healthcare professionals, and Uzbekistan’s Minister of Health Minister H.E. Asilbek Khudayarov highlighted cooperation in AI and medical education.

The ministerial meeting concluded with adopting a comprehensive 2025–2026 Action Plan, signing a Joint Declaration, and several Memoranda of Understanding in biosafety, emergency medical care, and medical education and science.
