

TIF Participated in the 5th Coordination Committee Meeting of Turkic Cooperation Organizations
Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) took part in the 5th meeting of the Coordination Committee of Turkic Cooperation Organizations, held on 12 March 2025 at the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) premises in Istanbul.
Chaired by OTS Secretary General H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the meeting gathered Deputy Foreign Ministers of OTS Member States, ambassadors of Hungary and Turkmenistan in Türkiye, the Undersecretary of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, and heads of Turkic Cooperation Organizations (TURKPA, TÜRKSOY, Turkic Academy, and Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation). Discussions were focused on implementing decisions of the OTS Council of Heads of State, joint activities, and the 2025 Action Plan. The heads of organizations also presented their 2024 activity reports.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Türbedar, TIF’s Senior Advisor for Economic Affairs, attended the Coordination Committee Meeting as the representative of TIF President H.E. Baghdad Amreyev.
Erhan Türbedar conveyed the President’s best wishes for a successful event. He emphasized the importance of coordination among Turkic Cooperation Organizations for achieving better outcomes and reaffirmed TIF’s commitment to close collaboration with all organizations involved in the Coordination Committee. He also outlined the efforts to finalize TIF’s establishment, engage with member states, and secure co-financing.
Dr. Türbedar further noted that TIF is currently developing key policies for transparent and efficient operations, with plans to begin financial activities in the second half of this year.
The meeting reinforced the commitment to stronger coordination and collaboration among Turkic Cooperation Organizations, setting the stage for joint initiatives and the successful implementation of the 2025 Action Plan.
