The President of TIF met with Vice Minister of Economy of Kazakhstan
On 20 February 2026, on the margins of the 14th OTS Meeting of Ministers in charge of Economy and Trade in Turkistan, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), accompanied by TIF General Director Mr. Ramil Babayev, met with Mr. Asan Darbayev, Vice Minister of National Economy of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The discussion focused on practical cooperation between Kazakhstan and TIF, including early project identification in coordination with relevant national institutions and the near-term focus of the Find on launching financing operations through partnerships and co-financing.
Ramil Babayev shared an update on TIF’s operational strategy and the Fund’s approach for developing the cooperation with its partners in Kazakhstan
Vice Minister Asan Darbayev welcomed TIF’s operational start and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s interest in close coordination as the Fund develops its portfolio.
