President of TOBB visited the Turkic Investment Fund

On 12 February 2026, Mr. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), paid an official visit to the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF). H.E. Mr. Baghdad Amreyev, President of TIF, welcomed Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu and his delegation in a cordial atmosphere.

In his remarks, President of TIF Amreyev briefed on the ongoing undertakings for financing activities of the Fund and highlighted TIF's aims to convert the shared priorities of the Member States into well-prepared, finance-ready cross-border projects.

He noted that the Fund was created to support a broader agenda of economic integration across the Turkic world, and that TIF has established its internal setup and core systems while maintaining active cooperation with regional and international financial institutions.

President of TOBB, Mr. Hisarcıklıoğlu, congratulated TIF’s leadership for moving the Fund from an establishment phase to the start of operations within a short timeframe and expressed TOBB’s readiness to continue working closely with TIF. He noted that the Turkic countries will benefit from cross-border projects that strengthen connectivity among their economies.

General Director of TIF, Mr. Ramil Babayev, spoke about the Fund’s ongoing operational work and the preparation of project portfolio for financing in the first half of 2026.

The parties pointed out that closer cooperation of TIF with the private sector can deepen investment links among the Turkic economies.
