

President of TIF Met the Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister
On 31 January 2024, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met with H.E. Nuh YILMAZ, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Türkiye, at the Ministry’s headquarters in Ankara.
During the meeting Amreyev and Yılmaz discussed the ongoing multifaceted cooperation among Turkic countries and ways to enhance the economic integration of the Turkic World.
President of TIF, Baghdad Amreyev briefed on TIF’s activities in 2024, emphasizing key milestones reached and outlining plans for 2025. He highlighted the Fund’s continued efforts to engage with Member States, as well as potential partner organizations and private sector representatives, to identify co-financing opportunities and foster joint regional projects. Mr. Amreyev stated that TIF is developing its Investment Policy, which will establish a comprehensive framework to regulate the Fund’s support mechanisms while also aiming to attract capital into various sectors of Member States.
Deputy Minister Nuh Yılmaz praised the TIF’s role in promoting economic collaboration among Turkic countries and underscored the significance of Türkiye’s active involvement in advancing the organization’s goals. He reiterated that all Member States’s active participation is crucial in strengthening economic ties and ensuring the success of projects among the Turkic countries.
Parties reiterated their commitment to enhancing regional partnerships and collaborating on refining the policy framework and interventions that meet the diverse economic needs of the Turkic world.
