President of the Turkic Investment Fund met with the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan

On 9 June 2025, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan, H.E. Olzhas Bektenov, received the President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, in Astana. President of TIF Amreyev thanked the Republic of Kazakhstan for its strong and continuous support to the Fund. He gave an overview of TIF’s recent work and shared the Fund’s key priorities for the upcoming period.

H.E. Amreyev said that TIF is focused on building close cooperation with Member States, international partners, and private investors to launch joint projects and unlock co-financing opportunities. President of TIF Amreyev also spoke about the Fund’s Investment Policy, whose preparation will be finalized soon and will provide a clear structure for how the Fund will support projects and promote investments across various sectors in Member States.

Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov welcomed the updates and praised the work done by TIF so far. He underlined the vital role of TIF in deepening economic ties between Turkic countries. The Head of the Kazakh Government stated that the next period will be an important turning point for the Fund as it moves into a more active phase of operations. He confirmed Kazakhstan’s full support for the Fund’s work and shared several ideas regarding the Fund’s strategic direction and future policy goals.
