Ambassador of Kazakhstan Visited Turkic Investment Fund

H.E. Yerkebulan Sapiyev, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Türkiye paid a courtesy visit to the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) in Istanbul on 8 January 2025.

H.E. Bagdat Amreyev, President of TIF and the General Director of the Fund Mr. Ramil Babayev warmly welcomed Ambassador Sapiyev and expressed their gratitude for the visit. During their meeting, President Amreyev briefed the Ambassador on the recent activities and developments at TIF. He highlighted the completion of establishment process of the Fund with TIF poised to begin its investment operations soon.

President Amreyev also expressed his appreciation to the Republic of Kazakhstan for its unwavering support to TIF, reminding that TIF has recently relocated to its headquarters and that the visit of H.E. Sapiyev represents the first visit by ambassadors from Turkic states accredited in Türkiye.

H.E. Yerkebulan Sapiyev underscored the critical role of TIF in advancing economic relations among Turkic countries. He emphasized the importance of strengthening cooperation within the broader Turkic world, noting the role of the Organization of Turkic States and other Turkic Cooperation Organizations. Ambassador Sapiyev stressed that these organizations are producing tangible results essential for the future progress of the Turkic nations.

The Ambassador also commended President B. Amreyev for his exceptional leadership and historical contributions to the development of the process of Turkic cooperation in different areas, expressing confidence in TIF’s future success and its positive impact.

The both sides expressed their hopes for ongoing success and collaboration, reaffirming their commitment to strengthening economic ties and promoting shared prosperity in the Turkic world.
