Turkic Investment Fund Delegation Visit to MEXT Technology Center

The delegation of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), led by General Director Ramil Babayev, visited the MEXT Technology Center in Istanbul on 24 February 2026. The delegation included Chief Investment Officer Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Financial Officer Betül Sarıkaya, Chief Legal and Operations Officer Zsolt Csanádi, and Risk Manager Mirlan Shatmanov.

During the visit, representatives of MEXT Technology Center delivered a comprehensive presentation outlining the Technology Center’s role in accelerating industrial digitalization and advanced manufacturing, as well as sustainability- and technology-driven transformation through consultancy, technical advisory and training services. The delegation also conducted a field visit to observe the operational infrastructure and innovation ecosystem in practice.

MEXT representatives, including Efe Erdem, General Manager of MEXT, Barış Arıkan, Executive Director for Sales & Marketing, and Beyza Özdemir, Digital Transformation Architect, shared further insights into the MEXT’s activities and strategic engagements. They provided a detailed overview of MEXT’s activities in TIF member states, particularly Azerbaijan and Türkiye, outlining existing collaboration frameworks, capacity-building initiatives, and knowledge-sharing programs that support industrial competitiveness and foster technological upgrading.

The visit provided a valuable opportunity to exchange views on green and digital transformation, regional industrial development, and potential areas of cooperation. Both sides agreed to continue discussions to explore partnership opportunities that could contribute to sustainable economic growth and technological advancement across TIF’s member states and the Turkic region.
