Turkic Investment Fund Attends Inauguration of Ludovika Center for Turkic Studies

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Türbedar, Senior Advisor for Economic Affairs of the President of the Turkic Investment Fund, took part in the official inauguration of the Ludovika Center for Turkic Studies (LCTS) on 22 September 2025 at the Ludovika University of Public Service in Budapest.

The inauguration gathered representatives from government, the diplomatic corps, academia, and international institutions. Participants also included experts from research centers and think tanks in Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan. The program featured keynote addresses and panel discussions on the strategic vision for Hungary and the Turkic world, as well as on ways to deepen economic relations between them.

Dr. Erhan Türbedar spoke at the panel titled “Connectivity – Energy, Trade, and Transport.” In his remarks, Dr. Türbedar reflected on trade and investment trends among Turkic states and assessed the current level of economic cooperation. He spoke about the goals of the Turkic World Vision 2040 and highlighted the importance of the Middle Corridor, stressing the measures, partnerships, and financial resources needed to increase cargo volume along the route.

He further spoke about the mission and priorities of the Turkic Investment Fund and underlined its efforts to work with international financial institutions to support stronger connectivity and closer economic ties among Turkic states.
