TIF President Received Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States

On 4 June 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) and General Director of TIF Mr. Ramil Babayev welcomed Mr. Ömer Kocaman, Deputy Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), and Mr. Ali Çiviler, OTS Project Director, at the Fund’s headquarters in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the sides discussed current regional and global developments and exchanged views on further deepening economic cooperation among the Turkic countries. They also emphasized the importance of advancing practical cooperation, investment connectivity, and regional integration within the Turkic World.

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev noted that TIF was established to give the economic cooperation agenda of the Turkic countries a more practical and results-oriented dimension. He stressed that TIF serves as a financing platform for projects that strengthen investment, connectivity, trade, and sustainable development across the Turkic World. He also noted that continued coordination with OTS will help ensure that TIF’s future projects remain closely aligned with the shared priorities of the Turkic countries.

Mr. Ömer Kocaman noted that TIF stands as an important institutional achievement for economic cooperation among the Turkic countries. He also highlighted the value of deepening cooperation, connectivity, and sustainable development across the Turkic economies, as well as the need to explore opportunities for broader engagement with the wider Islamic World.
