On 14 September 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), received Ms. Lazzat Ramazanova, Chairwoman of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI), and her accompanying delegation at TIF Headquarters in Istanbul.

Mr. Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Investment Officer of TIF, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Erhan Türbedar, Senior Advisor for Economic Affairs of TIF, also attended the meeting.

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev warmly welcomed the delegation and underlined TIF’s support for women’s entrepreneurship. He noted that inclusivity is one of the principles guiding the Fund’s activities and that greater participation of women in business can support private sector development and economic growth across the Turkic countries.

B. Amreyev also noted that women entrepreneurs still face important barriers, particularly in access to finance. He said that TIF is ready to help widen access to financing for women-led businesses and support their growth, while working closely with relevant institutions and business networks across the Turkic countries.

Ms. Lazzat Ramazanova presented the Council’s current initiatives and proposed closer cooperation to support women entrepreneurs across the Turkic countries, including the development of common support tools for women-led businesses.

She also presented a new initiative to strengthen women’s business development and cooperation across the Turkic countries through training, education and the exchange of experience. Ms. Ramazanova briefed the TIF President on the Turkic World Academy of Women’s Cooperation and its objectives, as well as preparations for the planned General Session of the Council of Women Entrepreneurs.

The two sides agreed to continue discussions on how TIF and the Council of Women Entrepreneurs could establish project-based cooperation to support women entrepreneurs.
