TIF President Met with the Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority

On 10 August 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund and the Chairman of the Board of Directors of TIF, met with H.E. Sheikh Saoud Salem Abdulaziz Al-Sabah, Managing Director of the Kuwait Investment Authority (KIA), in Kuwait City.

The meeting was also attended by H.E. Yelekeyev Yerzhan, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait.

The sides exchanged views on cooperation between TIF and KIA and discussed opportunities to strengthen investment and financial ties between the State of Kuwait and the TIF member states. The discussion covered areas of possible interest, including infrastructure, transport and logistics, energy, and finance.

H.E. Sheikh Saoud Al Sabah and H.E. Baghdad Amreyev discussed also how TIF’s knowledge of its member states and KIA’s long-term investment approach could help identify commercially viable opportunities that may be of interest to both institutions.

The Parties agreed to take practical steps to develop cooperation between the two institutions and to work to identify projects of mutual interest for possible joint implementation.
