TIF President Met with the Director General of the Arab Fund

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met in Kuwait City on 11 August 2026 with H.E. Fawzi Yousef Alhunaif, Director General and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development.

The meeting was attended by H.E. Yelekeyev Yerzhan, Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the State of Kuwait, and representatives of the Arab Fund.

The parties discussed the priorities and activities of their institutions and exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation. H.E. Baghdad Amreyev presented TIF’s mandate and key areas of work, while H.E. Fawzi Yousef Alhunaif shared the Arab Fund’s extensive experience in development financing and support for economic and social development projects.

The sides expressed interest in strengthening cooperation and agreed to continue discussions aimed at identifying joint projects and financing opportunities, including possible collaboration with members of the Arab Coordination Group.
