TIF President Met with newly appointed Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister

On 8 September 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met with H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev congratulated Minister Mukhtar Tileuberdi on his recent appointment and wished him success in his new position. He said he looked forward to continued cooperation between TIF, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and other relevant institutions of Kazakhstan. B. Amreyev also briefed the Minister on TIF’s recent activities and said that in the initial phase, the Fund plans to pay attention to projects in its Member States that support the private sector, trade, and regional connectivity.

H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi welcomed TIF’s activities and reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s support for the Fund’s financing policy. He also expressed readiness of Kazakhstan to continue working closely with TIF and relevant institutions of the country on projects that strengthen economic links among the Turkic states.

Parties agreed to stay in close contact and continue their cooperation as TIF develops further activities in Kazakhstan and other Member States.
