TIF President met with Chairman of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan

On 23 June 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met with H.E. Rahimberdi Jepbarov, Chairman of the Board of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, in Vienna.

The discussion covered regional investment, trade links, and Turkmenistan’s role in Central Asian and Caspian connectivity.

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev briefed H.E. Rahimberdi Jepbarov on TIF’s mandate, recent activities, and cooperation with international financial institutions. He noted that TIF highly values dialogue with financial and development institutions, particularly on issues related to investment, private sector development, and strengthening economic ties among Turkic economies.

H.E. Rahimberdi Jepbarov presented the activities of the State Bank for Foreign Economic Affairs of Turkmenistan, the main governmental financial body responsible for engagement with international financial institutions and cooperation with foreign partners.

R.Jepbarov expressed the considerable interest of the Turkmen side in the activities of TIF and in exploring opportunities for cooperation with the Fund.

R.Jepbarov and B. Amreyev agreed to continue consultations and exchange bilateral visits between their respective headquarters.
