TIF President Met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan in Astana

On 17 November 2025, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met in Astana with H.E. Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The parties reviewed the outcomes of the 12th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States held on 7 October in Gabala and noted the growing importance of economic coordination among Turkic states.

The President of TIF Baghdad Amreyev briefed Minister Yermek Kosherbayev on the recent activities of the Fund and shared updates on preparations for the next phase of TIF operations. He underlined the Fund’s role in promoting regional investment and supporting projects that strengthen economic connectivity among Turkic countries. He noted TIF’s intention to work closely with financial and development structures of Kazakhstan and other Member States as well as international financial institutions.

Minister Kosherbayev stated that Kazakhstan places strong importance on the mission of the Fund. He underlined that TIF is expected to become a central element in supporting economic cooperation in the Turkic world. He reaffirmed Kazakhstan’s readiness to collaborate closely with the Fund in regional projects that support shared development goals of Turkic countries.

The parties expressed readiness to continue close consultations and support initiatives that reinforce economic partnership among TIF Member States.
