TIF President Met Deputy Minister of Finance of Türkiye in Ankara

On 1 December 2025, the President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev and General Director Ramil Babayev, met in Ankara with H.E. Osman Çelik, Türkiye’s Deputy Minister of Treasury and Finance and a member of the TIF Board of Governors.

The meeting took place in the context of the final preparations for the Second Meeting of the Board of Governors, scheduled for 5 December 2025 in Bishkek, where Deputy Minister Çelik will serve as the Chairman.

President of TIF Baghdad Amreyev expressed his appreciation for Türkiye’s steady engagement in the Fund’s work. He briefed Deputy Minister Çelik on the ongoing preparations for the upcoming Board of Governors meeting, emphasizing its importance as the Fund transitions into the operational phase of its activities. General Director Ramil Babayev followed with an update on the operational arrangements currently in progress for the Fund to begin its financial activities.

Deputy Minister Osman Çelik reiterated Türkiye’s support for TIF’s objectives. He described the current period as an important stage for the Fund and highlighted that strong cooperation among Member States and the development of mutually beneficial regional projects remain a shared interest.

Parties agreed to keep active communication with all Member States during the final round of preparations leading up to the Bishkek meeting.
