TIF President Met “Atameken” Chairman in Astana

On 6 January 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met with Mr. Raimbek Batalov, Chairman of the Presidium of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan “Atameken”, in Astana.

They discussed the preparations for the upcoming 3rd General Assembly of the Union of Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) and exchanged views on how TCCI can enhance its work and foster closer ties among entrepreneurs across the Turkic states.

The President of TIF noted that chambers understand their companies and also recognize where rules, infrastructure, and financing gaps still hinder business across borders. He said TIF views TCCI as a close partner and values collaboration with chambers as the Fund enters its operational stage. He also stated that the Fund will adhere to its Strategic Roadmap and Investment Policy, focusing on well-prepared regional proposals that have real cross-border value.

Chairman of the Presidium of Atameken, Mr. Batalov, welcomed the work of TIF and stated that “Atameken” is ready to contribute by helping companies develop clear project ideas, gather practical feedback from businesses, and assist in turning cooperation into realistic regional proposals that align with the Fund’s framework.

The parties expressed their shared interest in continued cooperation and regular communication.
