TIF President Meets with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade

The President and the Chairman of the Board of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), Baghdad Amreyev, met with Uzbekistan’s Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, on September 25 during the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum.

The discussions centered on TIF’s strategic activities, partnerships with global financial institutions, and upcoming investment pipelines in Uzbekistan. A primary focus of the meeting was the preparation for the Third Meeting of the TIF Board of Governors, which Tashkent will host in October.

B. Amreyev briefed Kudratov—who serves as the current Chairman of the Board of Governors—on recent financing operations and the outcomes of the 14th Board of Directors meeting held in Istanbul on September 18.

Minister Kudratov welcomed TIF's operational momentum and reaffirmed Uzbekistan’s commitment to fostering integration within the Turkic world. He emphasized that the upcoming Tashkent summit will serve as a pivotal opportunity to bolster the Fund’s institutional development and expand its financial support mechanisms.
