TIF President and EBRD President Meet in Riga

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund, met with H.E. Odile Renaud-Basso, President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. The meeting took place during the 2026 Annual Meeting and Business Forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), held in Riga, Latvia, from 5 to 7 June 2026.

The meeting provided an opportunity to review the progress made since the first meeting between the President of TIF and the President of the EBRD, held at EBRD Headquarters in London earlier this year. The sides exchanged views on the ongoing cooperation between TIF and the EBRD and discussed further steps to advance practical collaboration in areas of common interest.

The two Presidents agreed to continue their dialogue during the EBRD President’s forthcoming visit to Astana to attend the meeting of the Foreign Investors’ Council of Kazakhstan in early July.
