TIF Participates in the Green Climate Fund Regional Dialogue with Eastern Europe and Central Asia
The Turkic Investment Fund is participating in the Green Climate Fund (GCF) Regional Dialogue with Eastern Europe and Central Asia, taking place on 6-8 October 2026 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Organized by GCF, the event brings together government representatives, financial institutions and development partners to strengthen regional cooperation, advance climate investment priorities and support the development of investment-ready climate projects.
Mr. Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Investment Officer of the Turkic Investment Fund, participated as a panelist in the Private Sector Panel on 6 October. His participation contributed to discussions on the role of financial institutions in climate action, regional investment opportunities and partnerships to mobilize private capital. The panel also featured representatives of Armswissbank, the Development Bank of Kazakhstan and Incofin Investment Management.
The Regional Dialogue encompasses ministerial exchanges, discussions on carbon markets and practical sessions on accessing GCF financing, preparing climate projects and integrating climate-risk information into investment decisions.
