TIF  Participates in 3rd EU–Central Asia Economic Forum

Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) participated in the 3rd European Union – Central Asia Economic Forum held on 26 November 2025 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. The Forum was followed by the Trans-Caspian Transport Corridor and Connectivity Investors Forum on 27 November 2025.

Both events proved valuable in identifying current trends in the region, understanding priorities for economic partnerships, and reviewing the measures taken so far to improve the business climate and strengthen trade connectivity within the region.

During the Forum, TIF’s General Director Mr. Ramil Babayev gave an interview to AnewZ TV, the official English-language television channel of Azerbaijan, where he shared his insights on the mandate, recent activities and the broader regional cooperation agenda of TIF.

Mr. Babayev also held several meetings on the sidelines, with senior governmental officials and representatives of AIIB, EIB, IBRD, IFC, and OECD, including the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Jamshid Khodjaev; the Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Mr. Akram Aliyev and the Ambassador of the European Union to Kazakhstan Ms. Aleska Šimkić.
