TIF General Director Participated in the Second Azerbaijan–Türkiye Investment Forum

The Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) participated in the Second Azerbaijan–Türkiye Investment Forum which was held in Baku, Azerbaijan, on 23 December 2025, bringing together senior policymakers, investors, and business leaders to further strengthen economic cooperation between the two countries.

The Forum brought together top level officials of two important Member States of TIF including H.E. Ali Asadov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Cevdet Yılmaz, Vice President of the Republic of Türkiye; H.E. Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan; H.E. Ömer Bolat, Minister of Trade of the Republic of Türkiye as well as the co-organizers Mr. Yusif Abdullayev, Executive Director of AZPROMO – Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency and Mr. Hüseyn Büyükfırat, Chairman of the Türkiye–Azerbaijan Businessmen and Industrialists Public Union (TÜİB).

As part of the Forum, Mr. Ramil Babayev, the General Director of TIF, contributed to high-level discussions on financing mechanisms, regional connectivity, and sustainable economic development, and delivered a speech as part of the panel titled “Business Finance and Insurance Support Mechanisms”, sharing his insights on financing solutions, risk mitigation, and sustainable investment tools.

During the panel, Mr. Babayev highlighted TIF’s role as a development-oriented international financial institution, emphasizing co-financing, support for MSMEs, and regional connectivity across the Turkic region.

On the sidelines of the Forum, TIF General Director gave an interview to Trend.az, where he responded to questions on the Investment Policy of TIF and outlined its investment plans during the establishment phase.

The Forum served as an important platform to strengthen engagement with public and private stakeholders and to reaffirm TIF’s commitment to advancing Integrated Turkic Prosperity through partnership-driven investment approaches.
