TIF General Director Met with Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic

General Director Mr. Ramil A. Babayev of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) held a meeting with Mr. Mederbek Tumanov, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, and Mr. Omurbek Kenzhebaev, Head of the Department of International Financing, Green Economy and Tourism of the Ministry of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic. Mr. Babayev was accompanied by Mr. Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Investment Officer; Mr. Mirlan Shatmanov, Risk Manager; Mr. Shabdan Tagaev, Debt Finance Manager; and Mr. Farkhad Ibraev, Operations and Support Function Coordinator.

The discussions focused on identifying priority investment areas and strategic projects in the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as strengthening coordination with relevant government agencies to facilitate the timely initiation and effective implementation of potential investment projects. TIF briefed the Ministry on a number of selected projects and prospects aligned with the Fund's mandate.

The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on how TIF can support the country's development priorities by mobilizing financing, promoting regional cooperation, and advancing commercially viable projects with a strong development impact.

The meeting reaffirmed the Kyrgyz side's strong support for the Fund that the Turkic Investment Fund will effectively contribute to economic cooperation among member countries, and its confidence in TIF's role and potential to contribute to the country's development.
