TIF General Director met with AZCON and Azercell delegations

The General Director of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), Ramil Babayev, held a meeting with representatives of AZCON Holding and Azercell Telecom on 16 January 2026. 

The General Director was accompanied by Betül Sarıkaya, Chief Financial Officer, and Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Investment Officer. 

The AZCON Holding delegation included Taylan Tekeli, Chief Financial Officer, and İlham Mustafazade, Head of Financial Institutions Portfolio. Azercell Telecom was represented by Tural Pirverdiyev, Chief Financial Officer, Deniz Bayındır, Head of Wholesale, and Jeyhun Tağıyev, Corporate Sales Manager. 

Mr. Babayev outlined TIF’s mandate to support economic integration across the Turkic world, highlighting the Fund’s strategic focus on investments in digital connectivity and trade facilitation among member countries. 

Representatives of AZCON Holding and Azercell Telecom presented their ongoing and planned projects in the areas of connectivity and digitalization, and expressed a shared interest in strengthening cooperation with TIF on mutually beneficial initiatives. 

The meeting concluded with a common understanding to advance the dialogue, shape a cooperation framework, and lay the groundwork for a structured and systematic partnership between TIF, AZCON Holding, and Azercell Telecom.
