TIF and Franklin Templeton Leaderships Met at TIF Headquarters

On 3 April 2026, General Director of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), Mr. Ramil Babayev had a meeting with the CEO of Franklin Templeton Turkiye, Mr. Erman Kalkandelen at TIF’s Headquarters.

The TIF General Director was accompanied by Ms. Betül Sarıkaya, Chief Financial Officer; Mr. Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Investment Officer; and Mr. Mehmet Esat Mert, International Relations, Capital Mobilization and Treasury Director. The Franklin Templeton Investments was also represented by Mr. Mustafa Aydemir, Managing Director, and Mr. Değer Atay, Director.

The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on respective mandates and areas of activity, with particular focus on Franklin Templeton’s investment approach in Türkiye, including its current pipeline and new initiatives. Discussions also explored broader market dynamics.

Mr. Babayev highlighted TIF’s ongoing efforts to support sustainable economic development through tailored financing solutions and its investment toolkit covering both debt and equity, in response to evolving market needs.

Both parties expressed interest in maintaining an open dialogue and exploring opportunities for future collaboration.
