Secretary General of TURKPA Visited the Turkic Investment Fund

On 27 October 2025, the Secretary General of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States (TURKPA), Mr. Ramil Hasan, accompanied by his Deputies, Mr. Talgat Aduov and Mr. Muhammet Alper Hayali, paid a courtesy visit to the President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) at the TIF headquarters.

The President of TIF, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, joined by the Fund’s General Director, Mr. Ramil Babayev, received the TURKPA delegation with warmth and congratulated Mr. Ramil Hasan on his recent appointment as Secretary General of TURKPA. Mr. Baghdad Amreyev extended his best wishes for success in his new role, noting that TURKPA’s work remains vital for strengthening the legislative foundations of the Turkic cooperation process.

The President of TIF provided an overview of the Fund’s mandate, priorities, and its role in strengthening economic ties among the Turkic countries. He outlined the ongoing operational preparations to launch investment activities across member states and expressed TIF’s readiness to work closely with TURKPA in areas that support and reinforce the broader Turkic cooperation agenda.

TURKPA Secretary General Ramil Hasan shared updates on the institution’s recent activities and highlighted the growing need for closer collaboration among the Turkic Cooperation Organizations. He affirmed that TURKPA stands ready to contribute to the coordination of the Turkic cooperation process by supporting the development of the necessary legislative framework. In this context, Mr. Hasan emphasized that strengthened collaboration between TIF and TURKPA would help ensure the alignment of economic and legislative initiatives.

Parties agreed to maintain close communication and to explore concrete mechanisms for collaboration between the two institutions.
