

President of TIF Participates in the OTS Council of Foreign Ministers Meeting in Gabala
The President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, accompanied by the TIF General Director, Mr. Ramil Babayev. attended the Meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), held in Gabala, Republic of Azerbaijan, on 7 November 2025 as part of the 12th OTS Summit of Heads of State.
Hosted by H.E. Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan, the meeting was attended by H.E. Yermek Kosherbayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan; H.E. Zheenbek Kulubayev, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan; H.E. Hakan Fidan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye; H.E. Bakhtiyor Saidov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan; H.E. Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary; H.E. Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus; and H.E. Amb. Kubanychbek Omuraliev, OTS Secretary General. The Chairman and Members of the Council of Elders of the OTS, as well as the heads of Turkic Cooperation Organizations, also attended the meeting.
The Ministers reviewed the agenda and key documents of the 12th OTS Summit, assessed current regional and global developments, and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation among Member States in priority areas. Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev reported on the progress achieved during the Kyrgyz Chairmanship and outlined the main priorities for the upcoming Azerbaijani Chairmanship. Furthermore, the heads of Turkic cooperation organizations briefed the ministers on the progress made by their respective institutions.
TIF President Baghdad Amreyev stated in his speech that the establishment of TIF marks a historic milestone in strengthening economic unity among Turkic nations. He emphasized that TIF is not merely a financing tool, but a mechanism to contribute to the economic integration of the Turkic World by supporting cross-border projects in various sectors in theTurkic countries.
Baghdad Amreyev stated that TIF has completed its institutional setup and will soon start the preparation for financial operations. He noted that TIF aims to expand its capital base through international partnerships and cooperation with global financial institutions. In this regard, he described TIF as a platform that strengthens the Turkic world’s economic ties with international partners and expressed confidence that TIF will contribute to deepening economic relations among its Member States.
