President of TIF met the Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce in Bishkek

On 23 October 2025, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF),met in Bishkek with H.E. Bakyt Sydykov, Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic, who is also a Member of the TIF Board of Governors.

The President of TIF who was accompanied by Mr. Ramil Babayev, General Director of TIF, and Mr. Sanjar Usmanov, Chief Investment Officer discussed with the Kyrgyz minister ways of strengthening the cooperation between the Fund and the Kyrgyz Republic, one of TIF’s founding members, as well as reviewing preparations for the upcoming meeting of the TIF Board of Governors.

Baghdad Amreyev briefed B. Sydykov on the undertakings the TIF has made in recent months and outlined the next steps on its agenda. He emphasized the Fund’s commitment to promoting regional investment, facilitating economic cooperation among member states, and fostering sustainable growth through concrete, cross-border projects that deliver practical results.

Minister Bakyt Sydykov warmly welcomed the TIF delegation, reaffirming Kyrgyzstan’s firm commitment to continued close cooperation with the Fund. He stressed the high expectations of member states for TIF’s role in supporting shared economic priorities, joint projects, and promoting regional connectivity.

The Parties discussed the forthcoming meeting of the Board of Governors in Bishkek and exchanged views on the draft agenda and organizational matters. They noted the meeting’s importance for guiding TIF’s next phase of development aimed at ensuring its smooth organization and productive outcomes.
