President of TIF Meets with Deputy Director General of Qatar Fund for Development

H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF), met with Mr. Abdulla Ahmed Al-Fehani, Deputy Director General of the Qatar Fund for Development (QFFD).

The meeting built upon previous discussions held between the TIF President and the Director General of QFFD on 22 January 2026, focusing on establishing closer cooperation between the two institutions.

During the session, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev and Mr. Al-Fehani exchanged views on the recent activities, financing priorities, and upcoming project pipelines of both Funds across their respective Member States. Mr. Al-Fehani reaffirmed QFFD’s strong interest in partnering with TIF on joint initiatives within these regions.

The two sides explored potential cooperation in key sectors, including:

  • Infrastructure and industry development
  • Digitalization and technological advancement
  • Agriculture and food security

To solidify this partnership, both parties agreed to arrange a working-level visit in the coming weeks. This upcoming visit will focus on identifying priority sectors, mapping out prospective projects, and establishing co-financing frameworks.
