President of TIF Attended the Fifth Eurasian Economic Forum in Astana
President of the Turkic Investment Fund, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, attended the Fifth Eurasian Economic Forum, held on 28–29 May 2026 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The Forum was hosted by H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and was attended by Heads of State, senior government officials, representatives of international and regional organizations, development institutions, and business leaders from across the wider Eurasian region.
The Forum brought together around 3,000 participants from 44 countries to discuss the main economic issues shaping cooperation across Eurasia, including connectivity, trade, technology, industry, and agriculture.
Participants exchanged views on how digital tools, better logistics, common standards, stronger industrial links, and modern agricultural trade instruments can make cooperation easier for businesses and more useful for people.
During the Forum, H.E. Amreyev had bilateral meetings with representatives of international institutions, financial organizations, and business circles. The meetings provided an opportunity to exchange views on investment trends, regional connectivity, and potential initiatives relevant to the economic priorities of the Turkic countries.
