President of TIF Attended Foreign Investors’ Council Meeting
On 2 July 2026, H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF, the Fund), attended the 38th Plenary Session of the Foreign Investors’ Council in Astana.
The meeting was chaired by H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and brought together members of the Foreign Investors’ Council, senior representatives of international financial institutions, global companies, and Kazakhstan’s public institutions. The discussions focused on investment, technology, digital infrastructure, and the role of foreign investors in Kazakhstan’s economic development.
H.E. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev presented Kazakhstan’s new investment agenda and spoke about the country’s plans in artificial intelligence, digitalization, critical minerals, transport and logistics, agriculture, and higher value production. He said Kazakhstan intends to remain an attractive destination for investment in Central Asia and continue reforms that make the country more predictable for investors.
H.E. Baghdad Amreyev attended the meeting and held brief exchanges with representatives of the Government of Kazakhstan and international financial institutions. The exchanges aimed to bring work of TIF in Kazakhstan closer to the country’s investment priorities.
