President of the Turkic Investment Fund welcomed by Ambassadors of Turkic States in Vienna

During the working visit of the delegation of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) to Vienna, President of TIF H.E. Baghdad Amreyev was welcomed by the Ambassadors of the Turkic States accredited in the Austrian capital.

A special luncheon hosted by H.E. Edit Bátorfi Szilágyiné, Ambassador of Hungary in Vienna, was held on 29 April 2026 at the Embassy of Hungary. The event was attended by H.E. Rovshan Sadigbayli, Ambassador of Azerbaijan; H.E. Mukhtar Tileuberdi, Ambassador of Kazakhstan; H.E. Nurzhana Shaildabekova, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan; H.E. Gürsel Dönmez, Ambassador of Türkiye; H.E. Baxtiyor Ibrahimov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan; and H.E. Zeynep Kızıltan, Permanent Representative of Türkiye to the OSCE.

Welcoming President Amreyev and the participating Ambassadors, the Hungarian Envoy H.E. Edit Bátorfi Szilágyiné highlighted the close cooperation between Hungary and the Turkic countries, emphasizing Hungary’s strong interest in further strengthening economic and investment ties with the Turkic world.

President Amreyev briefed the Ambassadors on the current activities of the TIF and its mandate to promote trade, investment, connectivity, and economic cooperation among its member states. He noted that the Fund stands ready to work with relevant national institutions on practical cross-border projects aimed at delivering tangible value and deepening economic relations among Turkic economies.

The Ambassadors exchanged views on the roles of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and the TIF, discussed potential areas of cooperation, and underlined the importance of maintaining close coordination between the Fund’s activities and diplomatic channels.

The accredited Ambassadors of Turkic countries in Vienna reaffirmed their strong commitment to supporting TIF initiatives and activities.
