IOFS Director General Visited Turkic Investment Fund

H.E. Ambassador Berik Aryn, Director General of the Islamic Organization for Food Security (IOFS), visited the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) on 23 June 2025. He was welcomed by TIF President H.E. Baghdad Amreyev at the Fund’s headquarters in Istanbul.

During the meeting, the parties exchanged views on shared priorities and discussed the potential for cooperation in areas where the mandates of IOFS and TIF overlap, particularly among their common member states.

President of TIF Baghdad Amreyev spoke about the important role of IOFS within the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and acknowledged the growing contributions of Turkic countries to its initiatives. He underlined the relevance of co-financing as a tool to advance the development goals of both institutions.

The Director General of IOFS, Ambassador Berik Aryn, presented key IOFS projects and shared the organization’s focus on building strategic partnerships with financial institutions. He noted that coordinated investment plays a critical role in tackling global food security challenges.

The parties agreed to maintain dialogue and explore practical steps toward developing joint initiatives in the Turkic geography.
