Fifth Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund

The Board of Directors of the Turkic Investment Fund held its Fifth Meeting online on 12 September 2025. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Baghdad Amreyev, President of the Fund and Chairman of the Board of Directors, and was attended by the Members of the Board, the Executive Management, and other staff of the Fund.

Participants included Mr. Ulvi Mansurov, Director for Azerbaijan; Mr. Gábor Matula, Director for Hungary; Mr. Marat Yelibayev, Director for Kazakhstan; Mr. Mederbek Tumanov, Director for Kyrgyzstan; Mr. Kerem Dönmez, Director for Türkiye; and Mr. Shukhrat Vafaev, Director for Uzbekistan, as well as Mr. Ramil Babayev, General Director of the Turkic Investment Fund, together with Executive Management and other senior staff of the Fund.

In his speech, the President of the Fund expressed appreciation for the contributions of all Directors and Member States, emphasizing their responsibilities as the Fund transitions from institution-building to operations. Baghdad Amreyev also underscored the importance of finalizing and adopting the necessary internal policies to enable the Fund to carry out its activities in a transparent and effective manner.

Directors took note of the progress achieved, reviewed the items on the agenda, and provided comments on the policy documents under consideration. The Board of Directors discussed and adopted several policy documents that will strengthen the Fund’s administrative and operational framework.

The Directors agreed to finalize the remaining policy documents required for the Fund’s operations and to adopt them at the next Board meeting.
