Chief Financial Officer Mrs. Betül Sarıkaya to Leave the Turkic Investment Fund

The Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) General Director Mr. Ramil Babayev announced today that Mrs. Betül Sarıkaya, Chief Financial Officer (CFO), would be leaving TIF at the end of August to return to private sector. Mrs. Sarıkaya joined TIF in October 2024 as Chief Financial Officer and made a significant contribution to establishing and strengthening its financial management framework, systems, and processes, and supported TIF through an important phase of its operationalization.

In making the announcement Mr. Babayev said: “We are incredibly proud to have had Betül Sarıkaya on our founding team that built an international financial institution from the ground up. It is with heartfelt gratitude and sincere regret that TIF bids farewell to her. She is a prominent finance executive with over two decades of experience with prestigious accolades earned through her excellent leadership experiences.”

Mr. Babayev added: “Her impact has extended well beyond her professional responsibilities. Throughout her time at TIF, she has also strongly advanced women’s leadership, diversity, and an inclusive institutional culture. She was generous with her time, experience, and guidance, supporting colleagues across departments and sharing her insightful perspective whenever needed. Those who contribute to building an institution in its earliest stages leave a lasting legacy. Betül Sarıkaya’s contribution will remain part of both TIF’s institutional foundations and the culture that continues to develop within TIF.”

On her departure, Mrs. Sarıkaya said: “I am truly grateful for my time at TIF, as Chief Financial Officer. I have had the privilege of working closely with TIF’s brilliant and committed staff, colleagues in management, the Board of Directors, and Member States authorities. I am especially thankful to Ramil Babayev for the opportunity to serve during this critical establishment phase of TIF.”
