Private Sector

Providing direct and indirect capital solutions to private enterprises and financial intermediaries to stimulate market-driven growth and enhance industrial competitiveness.

The private sector window catalyzes market-driven development by providing flexible financing to companies across the growth spectrum, ranging from MSMEs to large-scale corporations. During the 2025–2026 Establishment Phase, TIF focuses on loans, trade finance instruments and partial credit guarantees to strengthen borrower creditworthiness and unlock commercial capital. These instruments are initially deployed via co-financing and syndicated structures with established international partners to catalyze market co-investment. Standalone trade finance programs and direct corporate lending will transition to full operational capacity during the Scaling Phase.

Equity and equity-linked instruments are scheduled for rollout during the 2027–2028 Scaling Phase, following the full integration of TIF's institutional and governance frameworks. The Fund will initially utilize a funds-of-funds approach to build market depth before expanding into direct equity and hybrid structures, such as mezzanine and convertible instruments, in growth-stage enterprises. This phased deployment targets risk-adjusted financial returns and measurable development impact, encouraging the adoption of international ESG standards among private sector participants.
